We have always held a
fascination for the murderer
known as Jack the Ripper who
stalked the streets of
Whitechapel in the Victorian
London of 1888, killing
innocent prostitutes so feed
some kind of blood lust that
increased each time,
culminating in the almost
complete destruction of
Mary Kelly. It is a
fascination held by millions
across the world, and surely
Jack the Ripper has been the
key player in more books and
films over the years than
any other criminal figure.
Our site seeks to serve 2
purposes. Firstly to
introduce Jack the Ripper to
a new audience by narrating
the lives and times of the
killer and his
victims in easy to
follow pages, looking at the
suspects at the time and
since and trying to decide
which, if any of them, were
Jack the Ripper. Secondly,
we provide a directory of
the current
Jack the Ripper Walking
Tours available to the
public and give our own
personal experiences where
